Head Unit/Equalizer: The Envoy's DIN-and-a-half radio opening provided adequate room for the Pioneer DEH-435 CD player/tuner, mated to a Memphis 16-EQP4 equalizer/crossover. The Pioneer source unit provides a crystal clear audio signal that can be dialed in on the fly with the EQ. The two units are surrounded by the factory radio bezel, which was painted Corona Gold to match the Envoy's exterior.

Front Stage: Custom-built kick panels house a Memphis M Class 15-MCSQ5.25 component set. The 5.25" mids and 1" blue silk tweeters were secured to fiberglass inserts painted gold to match the exterior. The placement of the drivers in the kick panels provides near perfect imaging. A pair of 6.5" Memphis 15-MCSQ6.5 midbass drivers complements the kick panel components in their own gold fiberglass enclosures in the front door locations. The larger door drivers significantly enhance the front stage by supplying the tighter midbass frequencies that are difficult to reproduce with smaller components.

Just behind the rear wheel arches are two separate fiberglass enclosures that each house two Memphis M Class 15-MC104 10" subwoofers. The custom-fabricated enclosures fire two of the subs back toward the tailgate and the other two up towards the headliner. The trim panel that covers the amprack was also formed around the enclosures that, like many of the other panels in the vehicle, were painted Corona Gold to match the exterior. Four 10s moving plenty of air in the hatch are sure to draw attention at the shows.
