At one of the greatest automotive events in the world the top six cars for Trifecta 2006 gathered to compete for the minds of Car Audio magazine's judges and a 1st place cash prize of $1,500, as well as the cover of the March issue of CA&E.
Competitors traveled from across the country to be at the SEMA Show. Just making it to the Finals was a true accomplishment. Our congratulations to Trifecta Denver winner Zee Siddiqi and his 240, Wayne Watkins and his super clean RSX, Justin Efkowitz and the Tweeter 300M, winner at our IAS Philly show, along with Dave Hary and the SQ Audi S4 who joined the most recent winners from our San Diego event, James Moe and his Chevy Brookwood and James Ngim and his Honda Civic to take center stage at Trifecta SEMA.

It was a close competition. In the end, after tallying up all the scores, judges, Troy Sumitomo (5Axis), Chris Yato, Mike Vu, Gary Bell (Alpine), Mark Eldridge, Jim Holloway (Mother's), Rob Ida, Mike Martin (Pimp My Ride), Ed Ng, Keith Turner, Matthew Valbuena, Eric Fitzgerald and Casey Thorson gave third place to Zee Siddiqi and his 240 which had the highest aesthetics score and collected the $250 award. Second place was somewhat of a surprise as it went to Wayne Watkins and his new and improved RSX, the top SQ car at the event. Watkins collected $500. First place was won by Justin Efkowitz' 300M, built by the Tweeter team led by Billy Brown. Justin collected $1,500 and will be featured on the front of the March issue of Car Audio.
Our thanks to all the sponsors, SEMA, our judges and the competitors that made for a successful inaugural season of Car Audio's Trifecta.
