It's underground yet mainstream, but not commercial. First off you get a bonus certificate number to download free bonus tracks not released on CD on top of the 15 music tracks. My favorites: 3, 6, 9, 12 - but you know I am on the drum-n-bass tip; track 15 is very interesting. The CD also comes with test section tracks 16-99 for you subwoofer-wrecking types. The Bass Mekanik began on the car audio scene with its first release in 1994 and has never looked back. With critical scrutinizing by the music industry (due to lack of major marketing budget) this label has managed to promote itself under the nose and radar of their industry all the while building a strong name within the hardcore car audio circle. I say this because this truly is the story behind the company. Three of the songs are produced by my man Billy E. You will like these techno-ish type tracks. It's hard to lock these guys into the mainstream genre, but you will like these if you are on that vibe. Don't know him?
