With an MSRP of $1,499.99 some consumers may think twice. This is a terrific all-in-one product that's incredibly handy, but for its price you could purchase a decent portable nav device and an inexpensive laptop for two-thirds of the cost of an NVX3000PC. But then you'd have to carry two things instead of one and moreover it wouldn't be half as cool. If your budget can stand it, this is another tool for your digital arsenal that fits certain needs perfectly. We took it on a trip to Vegas along with a PND and laptop. In the end, the latter two didn't get used while the NVX became a convenient single solution. (Since the release of the 3000, Jensen's launched the NVX4008PC and NVX3008PC.)
