Conclusion
Hertz set out to build superior speakers systems. For the Mille ML3000, that means setting new standards for mobile audio subwoofers in all areas of sound quality, such as linearity, accuracy, detailed reproduction of low frequencies and even high SPL capabilities while maintaining extreme reliability. Hertz has gone a long way to achieve many of these goals, but I can't credit them with the best I've heard. That said, the ML3000 is certainly one of the smoothest and absolutely the least directional subwoofer that I've tested. It's easy to listen to for long periods of time and very enjoyable at all volumes. At $900 it's expensive, but it compares to and beats many of the more expensive subwoofers in this class for sound quality. The Hertz line of products may be new to most of us, but they're worth a try.
