We had the chance to attend the JVC Mobile, Motley Crue Crue Fest press conference in Hollywood; and never to reject an opportunity to hear a band live we fought through the traffic of cars and Crue fans to hear the announcement, followed by a mini concert. These guys may be old enough to be your parents'favorite band, but they can still crank.
After an oldie but goodie, Kickstart My Heart, the guys played their new single. That's right, they have new material. Maybe the critics are right, rock IS back!
That explains why the members of Motley Crue are leaving their collective (and lucrative) TV, video and book careers on the shelf for a bit while they get back to what made them famous in the first place. Somehow Motley Crue has become something of a rock institution. They even have their own concert festival now sponsored by JVC Mobile, among others.

We have the Crue Fest compilation disc featuring the new single from MC, Saints of Los Angeles, as well as tracks from fellow tour members Buckcherry and Papa Roach, et al.
