Launching last year, REALM, an audio company dedicated to high-end components designed for discriminating consumers, has kept busy since then. Yesterday it announced it has expanded its team of audiophile car audio experts. REALM has devoted more resources and added to its team of experts dedicated to: develop and deliver the product line; manage sales and dealer relations; and promote the product.
The larger team will allow REALM to expand its product line through targeted product planning, improve dealer relationships with a dedicated sales force, and increase marketing activities including participation in feature vehicles at industry shows and events. With more than 60 years of combined experience in the aftermarket consumer electronics industry, the REALM team will help take REALM to the next level.

The dedicated REALM team will include a product manager, product specialists and marketing specialist each reporting directly to vice president Kas Alves. The REALM team includes:
Chris Mc Sweyn - product manager - Chris Mc Sweyn is the product manager in charge of research, design, engineering and development of all REALM products. An audiophile, Chris developed the REALM line out of an industry need. Chris began in the industry as a high-end custom installer. Chris' dedication to the aftermarket industry and expertise in high-end audio and engineering experience helps him create the new REALM of audio. His 14 years in the 12-volt industry and 12 years in installation will enable him to continue to grow this product line and offer distinct products geared for the aftermarket audiophile enthusiast.
Nathan Perkins - product specialist - Nathan Perkins has been in the 12-volt industry for more than 10 years and will oversee all of the REALM project vehicles. Nate is responsible for securing the vehicles, designing the sound system and building the system. His feature vehicle and installation expertise has already had a significant impact on show vehicles for REALM. Most recently Nate oversaw the custom installation of the popular REALM '63 Lincoln and '66 Chevy. Both classic vehicles underwent a complete restoration under Nate's supervision and were featured in the REALM booth at the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show.
Anthony Martinez - product specialist - The newest member of the REALM team, Anthony Martinez manages sales for the Midwestern United States for REALM and is also a product specialist for the high-end line. Anthony's 22-year career in the 12-volt industry includes a wide-range of experience including custom installation, retail sales, repair and manufacturer's representative. Anthony's diverse background enables him to understand dealer's needs and appreciate the manufacturer-dealer relationship.
Will Cherry - product specialist - Will Cherry manages sales for the Eastern United States for REALM and is also a product specialist for the high-end line. Will has more than 7 years in the aftermarket industry with extensive sales and product experience in high-end audio. Dedicated to developing long-term relationships with his reps and dealers, Will has a reputation of fairness and responsiveness. Will's sales expertise and commitment to customer satisfaction ensures dealers will receive the utmost in support.
Trevor Kaplan - marketing specialist - Trevor Kaplan completes the REALM team coordinating the marketing strategy for REALM. Trevor administers all marketing projects including advertising, brand design, POP, show vehicles and the REALM website. With experience in both the automotive and 12-volt industries, Trevor brings his dual knowledge to the REALM team.
