310 Motoring Goes Racingh You've seen the 310 t-shirts. Maybe you've even seen the logo in music videos. Those of you who read this magazine regular have definitely seen the cars that the shop has worked on. Their reputation for "unprecedented quality" spreads. The company is now getting behind the wheel of an Indy race car. This new team, 310 Racing, which started IRL (Indy Racing League) testing in January of this year in Miami, has the support of an A-list of African-American entertainers, musicians and athletes who are backing the first African-American owned and driven team to compete in the IRL. Some of the people include household names, like Shaquille O'Neal, Kobe Bryant, Brandi, and Master P.
The driver of 310's Indy car is George Mack (pictured), a very successful former international kart racer with more than 200 wins in his career. Mack has said he is more than ready for the new challenge, explaining that now is his time. And it is clear from his remarks that he means beyond individual achievements. He is obviously proud to be part of this history making time.
