IASCA Names New Executive Director
The International AutoSound Challenge Association announced in October the appointment of Chris Painchaud as its new Executive Director. The appointment was officially ratified at a board meeting in November.
Painchaud has twenty-two years of progressive achievement in management and leadership with trade associations, as well as in all aspects of customer service/member service in the not-for-profit environment, including service as Executive Director, Marketing & Communication Director, and Conference & Trade Show Manager.
As part of his new responsibilities, he will oversee the transition to the new management group, and the move to a world headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana.
"Since its founding in 1989, IASCA has established itself as the leader in the auto sound challenge arena," Painchaud said. "My goal as Executive Director is to guide this association to the next level of greatness that will ultimately benefit all levels of membership in the organization. We also intend to become an indispensable driver of business for auto sound dealers, installers and manufacturers. It's an exciting time for me to be in this position and I look forward to the challenge."
Painchaud was awarded the "Certified Association Executive" (CAE) designation by the American Society of Association Executives in 1991. The CAE is the highest level of certification in the association management profession.
