Committed to the music industry, JVC Mobile Entertainment has sponsored two tours this fall: Evanescence/Julien K on 27 tour dates across the U.S. and Mexico thru December 8th, the Jagermeister Music Tour featuring popular English heavy metal band The Cult. Next summer it will also be the Official Electronics Sponsor for the Ozzfest 2007 Music Tour, with 24 concert dates across the U.S.
Chad Vogelsong, General Manager of Marketing at JVC Mobile Entertainment, states "JVC Mobile is committed to the music industry and its involvement with concert tours. Exposing our products and brand to a captive male/female audience of 18-35-year-olds by sponsoring events like this is a great investment. Concert fans are very loyal and devoted to the brands that recognize and support them."
The first tour on the line-up, Evanescence, has had so many sell-out crowds that they had to add additional U.S. tour dates featuring three new songs never performed live by lead singer Amy Lee Despite. The alternative rock band released its first album in 2003, and more recently The Open Door, in 2006.
For the second tour, JVC Mobile is partnering with Jagermeister. The Cult band members have reunited for a number of album releases and worldwide tours since 1999 and will play 32 dates across the country, wrapping the tour December 7 in San Francisco. Entry into a show costs fans around $30, with freebies, prizes and giveaways like compilation CDs with live and unreleased tracks from Jagermeister bands, as well as shirts, hats and loads of other gear.
In its 11th year but the first year offering free tickets, Ozzfest relied on heavyweight sponsors like JVC Mobile Entertainment and Jagermeister for the funds to promote and produce the event next summer. A long-time sponsor of Ozzfest, Jagermeister rolled out the one-of-a-kind, 34-foot-long Jagermeister Mobile Stage for the second stage acts at this summer's biggest heavy metal festival.
