MTX AUDIO's THUNDER MARINE AMPLIFIERS ARE NOW AVAILABLE
(PHOENIX, AZ, USA)- MTX Audio is now shipping its new line of high performance marine amplifiers. The new Thunder Marine amplifiers offer a high performance audio solution that resists the elements of the harsh marine environment. At MTX, we know that boat enthusiasts are passionate about their investment and we have designed amplifiers that any boat owner would be proud to own. It takes more than just painting an audio product white to make it suitable for the marine environment. Thunder Marine amplifiers are high performance audio amplifiers that have specific features to enhance reliability in the marine environment without sacrificing performance.
All amplifiers are CEA 2006 certified giving you assurance that each model meets or exceeds the power rating standard set by the Consumer Electronics Association. Thunder Marine amplifiers are available in 4 models that will fit any marine audio application.
•TM1805 - 5 channel (75 watts x 4, 300 watts x 1 @ 2ohms) (Max Power - 1800 watts)
•TM904 - 4 channel (75 watts x 4 @ 2ohms) (Max Power - 900 watts)
•TM452 - 2 channel (75 watts x 2 @ 2ohms) (Max Power - 450 watts)
•TM601D - Class D monoblock (200 watts x 1 @ 2ohms) (Max Power - 600 watts)
Many marine audio products are just an impersonation of car audio products without the power. Thunder Marine amplifiers are different - they are built to be the most reliable and highest performing audio products in the marine industry.
•Intelligent Surface Mount Technology ensures reliability by mounting sensitive components directly to the board so they will stay secure during the vibrations and hard impacts a boat endures while traveling.
•To reduce the effect of performance reducing heat build up inside the amp, heat transferring FET bars are fastened into place providing the best heat transfer away from the electrical components and to the heat sink. At the heat sink, the heat can be dissipated to assure the amplifier will constantly be able to perform at its best.
•Conformal coating will prevent corrosion from moisture and salt spray providing unparalleled quality in marine audio.
"Boat owners are passionate about performance and fun. The only thing better than cruising down the lake at 60 miles per hour is cruising at 60 miles per hour while listening to your favorite music on a great sounding stereo system," said John Ivey, Director of Mobile Audio at MTX. "We recognized that boat owners don't want the lower quality generic marine audio equipment that came with the boat or that other audio companies are putting on the market. They want a product that is worthy of being in a competition caliber car audio system but will stand up to the harsh environments experienced in their boat. Our Thunder Marine line is definitely worthy and very capable of improving your boating experience. This isn't just a car audio product painted a different color, but it definitely performs like it!"
Thunder Marine amplifiers resist the elements of the marine environment but also provide performance for maximum output so your customers can enjoy their music as loud as they want for as long as they own the boat. Thunder Marine amplifiers are available now. Check out www.mtx.com for more details.
