Clarion
DPX1001.2
The DPX1001.2, which uses Class T digital amplifier technology, has been redesigned for 2002. It boasts 1000 watts bridged, mono. Using a special Tripath circuit, this digital amp is capable of delivering its rated output in a full frequency range of 20Hz to 20kHz. This allows the amplifier to deliver a dynamic output with lots of headroom and lower distortion and power consumption than digital amps that use Class D circuitry. The DPX1001.2 also has a new cosmetic look that is sure to please the consumer. Its side heatsink panels can be removed and custom painted, chromed, or powder-coated. Other features include built-in 55Hz-5.5kHz low pass filter, bass boost control, remote level control, new gold-plated block terminals for direct wire connections (spade connectors are no longer needed), and a double-sided circuit board with surface mount technology. Polk Audio
MM6
The MOMO/Polk autosound speakers were styled by MOMO Design to improve a car's interior appearance in the same way that MOMO aftermarket wheels, pedals and gearshift knobs add to the style and performance of a car. The MM6 features design patented, "show-quality" cast aluminum basket & open-design cast aluminum grille for the clearest midrange performance. The mid/driver also has low-mass woven carbon-fiber dustcaps and oversized Kapton voice coils for high power handling and great bass response. The 1" tweeter dome is a silk/polymer composite to minimize resonance for a flat response, great inner detail and low distortion. The external crossover features a three-position tweeter level adjustment switch, lowpass bypass switch, nickel-plated terminals, air core inductor and Mylar capacitors. It's backed by a three-year parts and labor warranty. MSRP is $349.95/set. For more check out www.polkaudio.com or call 800-377-7655.

MA Audio
COM1
MA Audio's COM1 is a single amplifier that can run your entire system. Moreover you can have an EQ and a crossover to go with it. The command center has a total of 6-channels of amplification as well as a 30 band per channel EQ and a 3-way crossover. The power ratings @ 4-ohm are 4 x 75 watts & 2 x 175 watts continuous RMS. The maximum continuous RMS output is achieved with a 0.5-ohm load and is as follows: 4 x 300 & 2 x 600 watts continuous RMS. The 3-way electronic crossover comes with fully variable high and low pass filters and variable phase shift of 180 degrees. There's also a 18dB fully variable bass boost. Other features include a built-in bass driver, all protected with a Plexi-protective non-tamper cover so once those settings are correct, no one can touch them.
