JL Audio
W7 Series Subwoofers
The W7 Series which consists of three subwoofer models, a 10-, 12- and 13.5-inch woofer, is the result of seven years of research and development led by JL Audio's CEO and Chief Engineer Lucio Proni. The design goal for these models was simple - to break new ground in terms of fidelity and output capability, within the same product. The execution was far from simple, requiring the development of six new patented or patent-pending technologies that represent significant advances in driver design. Features include DMA-Optimized Motor Systems; OverRoll(tm) Surround; W-Cone(tm); Floating-Cone(tm)Attach Method; plateau-reinforced spider attachment; and a patented cooling system. MSRPs range from $550 to $950. For more information on the JL technology behind these subs visit the company's Web site, www.jlaudio.com
