One of the unique features of the Mini is its center console, which rises from the dash and connects to the ceiling between driver and passenger. This was fabricated out of fiberglass to house two 5-inch LCDs, each in an oval-shaped pod, which can be used to display the rear camera or DVD source. The whole thing is backlit.
