More and more, SEMA is not just a show for racing and performance guys. The place is becoming a great mobile A/V event as well. The north hall seemed to be slightly up from the previous year, at least according to the guys at SEMA. While some major manufacturers were not there, the companies that were more than made up for it with new products and some terrific cars (which we will present in future issues). Along with the products included as part of the show coverage here, there were a couple of other manufacturers that deserve to be mentioned: Parrot has a new head unit with Bluetooth (Rhythm n Blue), similar to the Jensen head unit we reviewed in the January issue. It's a sure sign we'll see more of that from various companies. Also, alarm maker Scytek has a couple of cool products, including Videoguard that captures video of anyone tampering with your car-impressive, if a bit on the novelty side. As for the big news, that's in the pages that follow, with great new products from Eclipse, Pioneer, Sony and more.
