You might notice that this year's Directory issue is a bit thinner. As carry-over products are available on our Web site (go to www.caraudiomag.com and click on the Product Directory link), there wasn't an overriding need to publish the entire list. In large part, the Web is changing the way the world does business and we have to adapt. That is to say, we can't keep up with our own Web site in terms of timeliness, much less the rest of the Internet. That being said, our Directory issue offers consumers the convenience of seeing the entire industry, if you will, in a single issue of the magazine. Search engines are great, but someone that can do all the work for you and present it in an informative manner is unbeatable. This is probably the last Directory of its kind. Next year it'll be quite a different issue. It'll probably be better for the average consumer with more pictures and easier to understand data (without skimping on the specs). We're already moving in that direction this year with a product showcase section from manufacturers who wanted to convey their own message to consumers.
